Responsibilities for Cash Application specialist

Liaising internally with O2C, P2P and R2R teams to ensure correct allocations.
First level escalation for any issues raised by team members.
First point of contact for other departments regarding team topics.
Controlling and investigating unallocated cash to meet the expected KPIs.
Reporting and reviewing daily and monthly KPIs.
Assisting with O2C internal and external Audits.
Participate in the improvement of processes to increase team efficiency.
Other adhoc Finance duties as required.
Cash Application in a timely and accurate manner.
Bank Statement Review.
Direct Debit & Refund Administration.
Liaising with other departments re clearing and reconciliation activities.
Managing Logged & Unapplied Payments.

Qualifications for Cash Application specialist:

Remittance advice reconciliation for all payments.
Ensure all payments are matched & allocated within agreed timelines

Other Primary Requirements:

Previous experience in Cash Allocation is required.
Accounting knowledge required.
Excel knowledge.
Good knowledge of O2C processes, metrics, and controls.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.
