- Develop and implement advanced ML systems for search functionality, encompassing vector search, result filtering, related searches, and more.
- Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to create analytical dashboards that illustrate the impact of ML algorithms.
- Enhance business KPIs through the application of innovative techniques and models, as well as validating hypotheses.
- Contribute to enhancing the transparency of our systems for our customers.
- Proficiency in high-level NLP with practical experience in modern architectures.
- Familiarity with traditional NLP methodologies.
- Passionate about utilizing ML to develop a practical search system handling 200M+ daily requests.
- Advanced skills in Python, at least one ML/DL framework (we use torch), proficiency in any variant of SQL, and familiarity with big data tools like Spark, Presto/Athena & Hive.
- Proven track record in delivering production ML systems, conducting A/B tests, and translating intuition into data-driven hypotheses to drive valuable engineering solutions.
- Strong communication skills with a knack for optimizing performance, enhancing result quality, and improving code efficiency.
- Extensive knowledge in NLP, particularly transformer-based approaches.
- Comprehensive understanding of classical machine learning.
- Hands-on experience in the field.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Strong command of big data tools for end-to-end ML product development.

- Experience in designing, conducting, and analyzing A/B tests.
- Familiarity with Rust (or C/C++).
