Within SD Worx, as a learning partner, the SD Worx Academy team provides a qualitative answer to the learning needs of our clients and we strive for a continuous, innovative and sustainable learning culture with learning solutions that are independent of language, location and time.

Our passionate staff provide training in various fields such as social law, taxation, HRM, leadership and personal effectiveness. To support the Central Academy team, we are looking for an International Product Manager SD Worx Academy.


Your responsibilities
SD Worx Academy wants to strengthen its European position in the training world.

To help us achieve this, we are looking for an International Product Manager Academy, whose responsibilities will include:


L&D Product Strategy:


  • You are responsible for the growth of our (local) training business in Europe and for achieving the corporate growth ambitions.
  • You determine the strategy at production level together with the local businesses and ensure that it fits into the SD Worx Academy portfolio
  • You monitor budgets, follow product P&L and risks
  • Define, screen and generate opportunities in the local European markets, monitors market trends, understands market demand and anticipates sales and market demand.
  • Able to concretize learning objectives of local countries, with regard to learning format, realization and content.
  • You ensure projectbased international development of training programs and learning solutions within the Payroll & HR domain in cooperation with the Academy Community Manager.

Product Marketing:


  • You monitor the competition and anticipate market demands and ensure recurrent and ad hoc training offerings that match market needs.
  • You communicate with the L&D community, solicit customer feedback and are involved in presales activities.
  • You will be responsible for launching new product lines and events, be continuous in innovation and ensure appropriate gotomarket in collaboration with local/central marketing teams.

Product Life Cycle Management

  • Generate, screen and select new portfolio Academy ideas (new product, product improvement, new market, revenue potential etc.) in function of legal news, HR trends, what is happening in the world.
  • Together with consultants or partners, you develop or reform new or existing courses in various learning formats in close cooperation with the Academy Community Manager.
  • You ensure European harmonization in product offering, (digital) and scalable delivery, strategy and define the value proposition with appropriate pricing strategy.
  • You daily analyze your portfolio and monitor the performance of your product lines, using various data, compare results with previously set targets/forecasts, and optimize product performance in line with strategy.
  • Identify nonviable products (declining sales, demotivated team, no longer fills a need, etc.).
  • Define, maintain, monitor, manage change and actively participates in the execution of roadmap implementations.
  • You will report to the Learning Academy Central Lead.

Your profile

  • You have at least a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in a product management role.
  • You are an entrepreneur with growth mindset and ready for an innovative project.
  • You can set priorities in line with the vision and strategy.
  • You have a customeroriented attitude and are proactive.
  • You are not of short deadlines, change and project management.
  • Strong in stakeholder management.
  • Strong in open goaloriented communication with different stakeholders (local stakeholders, central stakeholders, marketing, sales, management, IT).
  • Experience ecommerce or digital channels is a plus.
  • Experience in or affinity with a Learning & Development environment & technologies then you have an edge.
  • Excellent knowledge of English. Multiple languages is a plus.
  • Experience in an international environment is a strong plus.
  • Your enthusiasm and dynamism take others in tow.
  • You can work independently and enjoy working in a team.
  • You are flexible and have the necessary stressresistance.
