Principal Medical Writer - Responsibilities:


Leadership and Mentorship:

• Lead and manage a team of Medical Writers, fostering a collaborative and highperformance work culture.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, ensuring continuous professional development.

Client Communication and Stakeholder Management:

• Act as the primary scientific expert in client communication, engaging with medical stakeholders, Health Care Professionals (HCPs), Public Health representatives, and other relevant organizations.
• Establish and maintain strong, longterm relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and clients.

Medical Events and Education:

• Lead and promote nonpromotional medical events, including steering committees, medical summits, consensus papers, advisory boards, continuous medical education, roundtable meetings, and workshops.
• Conduct and coordinate peertopeer communication with external medical stakeholders and internal Project Team members.

Scientific Expertise:

• Stay abreast of developments in Oncology, Neurology, and Rare Disease Therapeutic Areas, maintaining a high level of scientific and clinical expertise.
• Contribute to the development and validation of scientific documents, slide decks, and data quality control for international medical events.

Strategic Collaborations:

• Identify and develop strategic collaborations with Clients, HCPs, Key Opinion Leaders, and Professional Medical Societies.

Principal Medical Writer - Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (PhD, MD, or PharmD) is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven leadership and project management skills.
• Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
• Ability to achieve measurable results in a defined timeline.
• Capability to build and maintain scientific collaborations.
