Important multinational company is looking for an IT Operations Director.

This position offers hybrid/remote working.

Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure and CISO, his/her main tasks and responsibilities will be:
Oversee the daily operations of the IT Operations department to ensure the functionality, availability, and stability of the IT systems, data, backups, and communications; troubleshoot and remediate issues that arise

Collaborate with the CISO to ensure IT Ops contributes to and applies security strategy

Develop and manage annual IT budgets and procure IT equipment and professional services

Manage IT vendors, contracts and SLA's and perform vendor RA's

Measure and prioritize technical debt remediation

Define, develop and manage a comprehensive and integrated IT Service Management landscape

Certify business continuity and disaster recovery efforts.

Participate in internal and external audits; oversee and coordinate responses to audit requests

Evaluate and assess strategic solutions


Main Technical Requirements:

Bachelor or Technical Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar.

Google Suite, Amazon Web Services.

Strong technical knowledge of network and server operating systems.

Experience with support of Windows Operating Systems, SQL Server, Oracle Server and Active Directory.

Enterprise Backup, Replication and Business Continuity and Disaster recovery planning and response.

Cyber Security, RPA, ML and AI basics.

Evangelizing and implementing transformational initiatives where the target state included Agile & DevOps.

Consolidating operations capabilities in large, complex enterprise organizations.


Other Requirements:

Fluent in English (mandatory)

Leadership, problem solving, analytical, influencing and communication skills

Flexibility, adaptability and able to make balanced decisions
