A Madrid based Fundamental L/S Equity Team who specializes in Utilities & MLPs is looking for an Associate Intern to work on projects related to research, company due diligence and data-driven idea generation.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge research at a leading hedge fund, offering hands-on experience in the equity public markets.

• Conduct deep fundamental research, primary research, and engage in other data collection efforts
• Build and maintain detailed company financial models
• Create valuation analyses and write company and industry reports
• Take on ad-hoc industry related projectsQUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to work 40 hours per week in the Fall (September – December), possibility for extended internship of up to 6 months
• Pursuing bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics or other related fields
• Expected graduation date between Winter 2024 and Summer 2025
• Strong modeling and analytical skills, ability to build DCF models
• Ability to communicate effectively; excellent reading comprehension and writing skills
• High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities
• Passion for financial markets, regularly following and keeping up to date with market events
• Aspiration to pursue L/S Equity Investing
• Active member in university finance or investment clubLoading
