The EMEA Partner Strategy & Operations team at Salesforce is a high-performance team chartered with formulating go-to-market strategy, driving excellence in execution, and assisting senior leaders in achieving (partner) sales & customer success growth through data-driven insights.

The role encompasses a mix of strategic planning, operational efficiency, and analytical competence to make the company-critical Alliances team, and our partners, successful.

We're looking for an expert professional to partner with our senior leadership team. As a trusted advisor, passionate about strategic planning, (partner) sales optimization and business operational support. You will collaborate with many cross-functional teams such as finance, marketing, operations, and others. This is a high-impact role, with constantly evolving priorities and demands.


The individual in this role will share responsibility for driving the continued success of Salesforce by supporting our growth strategy.

Projects they will work on range from the very strategic to the very operational:

evaluate market opportunities, partner growth strategy, business planning, market segmentation, sales forecasting analysis, regular business performance reviews, and regular analysis of our ecosystem growth.

Simultaneously, excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively align with matrixed business partners and experience interacting with senior leadership are required.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Assist in the design and implementation of all aspects of the Go-ToMarket plan under the annual partner strategy planning cycle. This includes partner segmentation, prioritisation, territory assignment, compensation, quota setting, etc.
  • Perform adhoc analyses across multiple data sets and tools
  • Analyse the health and momentum of the business by supervising and interpreting performance metrics
  • Craft and build analytical tools at scale that satisfies immediate and long term strategic and operational needs
  • Build executive presentations, crafting key recommendations for senior executives in strategic decision making and investment
  • Support critical initiatives and projects to identify business growth opportunities and/or improve operational efficiency Assist in troubleshooting of operational issues as they surface; propose changes to systems and processes to fix root causes

TARGET SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:


  • Shown work experience in business analytics, consulting or finance
  • Experience in a fastpaced growth company or with subscription software business models
  • Strong analytical skills:
  • Experience in quantitative analysis and financial modeling. Sophisticated knowledge of G-Suite (Sheets, Slides).
  • Expertise using business intelligence and data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Einstein Analytics would be a plus.
  • Exceptional problem solving skills: demonstrated ability to structure sophisticated problems, develop solutions, and craft high quality project plans
  • Excellent communication skills: Ability to translate analysis into easily digestible messages and make succinct executive presentations (verbal/ written) for senior leaders
  • Flexibility and sense of urgency: Ability to adjust on the fly to new demands and resilience in an environment of ambiguity
  • Autonomy and drive: Selfmotivated with a highly collaborative style, strong influencing skills, and aim to work in a constantly evolving growth environment
