One Player Mission are excited to be working with a creative and dedicated studio who are devoted to delivering the ultimate gaming experience to their player communities.


They are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to be the specialist within the development team on a new multiplayer franchise.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Implement and take ownership of backend services developments from start to finish.
  • Contribute and adhere to agreed development methodology, uphold best coding practices, perform code reviews and pay consideration to longterm quality.
  • Evaluate thirdparty solutions and be part of the decision to develop your own solutions or choose a SaaS platform.

EXPERIENCE:


  • Expert understanding of software and architecture.
  • Previous experience in a development role at a reputable game studio.
  • Experience developing backend services related to videogames.
  • Modern development practices: TDD, Integration testing, automated testing.
  • Experience developing and shipping games for modern platforms.
