Kafka Outsourcing Manager & Scrum Master*:
Madrid, Zurich | working from home up to 60% | Reference 5548

This key role involves acting as the main interface among a diverse set of stakeholders, including the Product Owner of the Kafka platform, our Kafka service provider, internal stakeholders who are keen on feature development, as well as internal operations and technical teams looking to utilize and understand the platform.

Your active collaboration with these parties will shape the Kafka platform's future, aligning it with SIX's objectives while enhancing its value and functionality.

What You Will Do:

- serve as Scrum Master for the team, leading all Scrum ceremonies and ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and values, facilitating also communication, decision-making, and conflict resolution within the team
- oversee the outsourcing relationship with the Kafka service provider, acting as the primary point of contact, serving as a liaison between the product owner, development team, management and the external service provider
- collaborate closely with the Product Owner, understanding the vision for the Kafka platform and helping to shape its future and act as the key interface between the internal stakeholders who are interested in feature development and the outsourcing provider, ensuring that stakeholder needs are understood and met.
- engage with internal operations and technical teams, providing necessary consultation and support to help them make the most of the Kafka platform
- continually assess and control the quality of Kafka services delivered
- develop and maintain metrics to assess provider performance and ensure contractual compliance

What You Bring:

- certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Scrum certification with proven experience as a Scrum Master in a similar role
- strong knowledge of Agile principles and practices and the flexibility to adapt them to varying environments
- technical knowledge of Kafka or similar technologies will be a big advantage
- experience managing relationships with service provider and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- strong problem-solving skills with ability to handle conflict effectively, having also a team-player personality with good self-management capabilities
- high English level to interact with our international team, providers and stakeholders
