    Health & Safety Specialist

    Occupational/Labour Prevention Unit - Vall d'Hebron University Hospital Campus - VHIR

    • Provide technical support for planning and implementing preventive activities to safeguard workers' health and safety.
    • Develop general preventive tasks related to safety, hygiene, ergonomics, and psych-sociology measures.

    Education and Qualifications:

    Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in sciences (chemistry) or biosciences (biology, microbiology)
    • Advanced vocational training in Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP), safety specialties, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, and psych-sociology.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel)
    • Training in ORP in biomedical research laboratories
    • Accredited technician in self-protection planning

    Experience and Knowledge:

    Required:

    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position within biomedical research laboratories
    • Knowledge of ORP and environmental management systems

    Main Responsibilities and Duties:

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Implementing prevention plans and programs
    • Conducting risk assessments and proposing preventive measures
    • Updating and implementing self-protection plans
    • Training and advising staff on safety measures
    • Investigating work accidents and recommending corrective actions
    • Providing general training and information related to ORP

    Labor Conditions:

    Offering a full-time permanent position with a gross annual salary of 25,000 - 30,000 euros, based on experience and skills. Additional benefits include 23 days of holidays, individual training opportunities, and a Flexible Remuneration Program.
