Purpose


To drive pan-European strategic operational improvements on behalf of the European Executive Board (EEB) and/or the Operational Excellence (OPX) Forum.


The role will provide thought leadership and overall ownership of designing an appropriate solution to a myriad of critical business challenges collaborating with individuals from all levels of the organization.


Upon facilitating and providing a suitable solution, the role will then drive an appropriate team of indirect reports to solve the business challenge.


Responsibilities:


  • Drive the completion of
    strategic projects and process improvements across Operations in Europe this can include procurement, sales operations, after sales or general supply chain.

Lead the design and development of solutions to business critical operational issues via the planning and facilitation of workshops and collaboration with stakeholders across multiple functions and locations

  • Provide thought leadership in the
    formulation of operational KPIs and initiatives that can contribute towards positive and sustainable improvement:
  • Actively
    seek for opportunities to standardize and optimize existing processes, using a data led approach and best practice sharing and adoption
  • Have full
    ownership and responsibility for a programme of concurrent initiatives and be able to manage interdependencies, risks and issues and provide clear status updates to senior leadership under mínimal supervision.

Manage organizational change aspects of improvement projects to drive awareness, understanding and adoption to secure business benefits


Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • 8 to 10 years of relevant work experience is required.
  • Be passionate about using data to prove a business case or improvement opportunity.
  • Feel a genuine responsibility and full accountability to the success of any initiative.
  • Understand industry standard ways to manage projects and optimize processes a formally recognized qualification in these areas is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of the basic KPI's associated with sales operations, procurement and after sales.
  • Be able to work under mínimal supervision and generate their own ideas on how best to get design and implement solutions.
