Job Purpose
Have knowledge, understanding and experience to execute tasks according to the Operational Resilience Policy, BCM controls and BCM guidance.


You understand and are able to challenge IT and Security solutions, know the relationship between IT Service Continuity with Business Continuity Management and manage Operational Risks.


Main Activities


Initially work in the market to analyse the current state of service resilience before moving into the GSC EU Operational Resilience team working with ~6 other team members carrying out various IT and Business Continuity Management (BCM) tasks across Europe but with a focus on Spain.

Deliver a high standard of IT and BCM roles and responsibilities to do this you will need:

  • Detailed understanding of local regulations and international standards, BCM standards and good practices
  • Understand how the BCM requirements link across Security Management, Crisis & Incident Management, IT Service Continuity Management, and other professional families e.g., HR, Communications
  • Understand the concept of Important Business Services (IBS), critical business processes, their risks, and dependencies within their entity and across the wider AXA value chain
  • Detailed understanding of BCM tools as well as broader Operational Resilience landscape
  • Ability to develop and manage BCM action plans, review progress and adjust where required
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a highpressure environment
  • Accomplished in writing reports, presentations, local instructions, and guidelines
  • Ability to document resource business cases
  • Good knowledge of tools used for information management i.e., SharePoint, MS Office etc.
  • Strong facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong networking skills

Your Profile Experience**- At least 3 years' experience working in the Operational Resilience domain

  • General understanding of BCM lifecycle
  • Ability to review BIA's and BCP's to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • General understanding of Group BCM Tool(s) and processes required to undertake role e.g., Clearview
  • Experience and knowledge of IT Operations
  • Would benefit having worked within a Global organization but not necessary
  • Good communication and presentation skills [written and verbal
  • English]
