JOB SUMMARY

Functions as the property's strategic financial business leader. The position champions, develops, and implements property-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand's target customer and property employees. Provides financial expertise to enable successful implementation of the brand service strategy and initiatives while maximizing return on investment. Creates and executes a business plan aligned with the property and brand's strategy, focusing on financial activities and delivering desirable results.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

• 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related field; 3 years of experience in finance or accounting. OR
• Master's degree in Finance and Accounting or related field; 1 year of experience in finance or accounting.

• Develops means to improve profit, estimates costs and benefits, explores new business opportunities, and more.
• Analyzes information, forecasts sales against expenses, and creates annual budget plans.
• Identifies underlying principles of information, breaks down data into parts, and thinks both creatively and practically to implement new business plans.
• Provides analytical support during budget reviews, implements controls for managing risks, and analyzes financial data and market trends.

Leading Finance Teams

• Utilizes communication skills to lead and encourage others, advocates for sound financial decisions, and oversees audit processes.
• Assigns clear accountability to team members, conducts performance appraisals, and influences the executive team and strategies.

Anticipating and Delivering on Stakeholder Needs

• Attends meetings, communicates with owners, and advises on financial issues.
• Demonstrates understanding of cash flow, manages communication effectively, and facilitates critique meetings.

Developing and Maintaining Finance Goals

• Documents Profits and Losses accurately, monitors taxes, and supports achievement of goals.
• Improves profit growth, reviews audit issues, and manages the purchasing process.

Managing Projects and Policies

• Generates and provides timely reports, reconciles balance sheets, and ensures compliance with procedures and contracts.

Managing and Conducting Human Resource Activities

• Ensures team members are cross-trained, administers policies fairly, and provides necessary training for new hires.
• Creates development plans, conducts performance reviews, and participates in hiring activities as required.
