Job description

_Role Overview_

The IT Integration Project Manager has the responsibility of assigned IT integration projects, focused on API and Event Notification Implementation.

Plans and coordinates all aspects of assigned projects from initiation through delivery in effective collaboration with other IT Teams.

_ General characteristics_

The newly appointed role involves the coordination of integration projects, contributing to the company's integration strategy and supporting IT projects where multiple systems need to be integrated.

Projects will be executed in collaboration with other IT teams and external partners to ensure successful and timely implementation of interfaces.

Projects should be assessed by both the business and IT teams, prioritized, and executed using the project management methodology.

It is imperative that they are delivered on time, within the budget and meet the highest quality standards while satisfying customer expectations.

_ Key responsibilities_

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum.
Contribute to analyze, design and coordinate the execution of integration services (APIs) within the integration architecture standards.
Be involved in the development life cycle and perform definition and feasibility analysis.
Provide expert advice to project teams on use of integration architecture including integration best practices.
Oversee critical steps within the Integration projects that impact enterprise projects.
Work with project teams in definition of requirements for integration requests of their projects into the Enterprise Architecture.
Work with integration architect to coordinate project planning and assess the necessary activities to successfully implement the projects.
Manage internal resources as well as augmented or externally sourced team members.
Communicate project status to various levels of management.
Partner with leaders of other disciplines to ensure proposed solutions align with information, technology, infrastructure, business and security architectures.
Deliver quality results on time with mínimal supervision. The Integration project manager will be located in Madrid and will report to the IT Integration Senior Manager.

Job requirements

7+ years of experience in IT project management position with proven experience in management of complex projects.

Knowledge of process improvement and high-performance project team management.

Excellent knowledge in English, both written/spoken
Considered very valuable the knowledge of integration technology platforms and capabilities across MuleSoft, SAP and Microsoft Azure API Management Services.
Knowledge of enterprise and systems architecture, standards, frameworks, and practices.
Experience with the implementation of Continuous Integration practices and tooling to support automated build, delivery and regression test of commercial software.
Proven experience in managing relationships with vendors/consultants, IT teams and internal stakeholders.
Outstanding communications skills to be able to effectively interface with high level business owners, keyusers, and IT specialists
Interest in staying handson technical while wearing project management role.
Problem solving/supportoriented attitude, proactive, resultoriented
Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
Organization, creativity, flexibility, and strong analytical skills
