My client is looking to become the global market leader in premium electric motorcycles.

As a Hardware Industrialization Technical Engineer, you'll be at the core of the creation of next generation connected electric motorcycles and associated products.

For this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of electronic products by conducting comprehensive hardware troubleshooting and diagnosis, designing innovative test tools, rigorously testing new electronic designs, and providing support to the Hardware Industrialization team.


Responsibilities:


  • Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware electronics to identify and resolve hardware issues.
  • Design test tools to ensure the quality and reliability of hardware products.
  • Test new electronic designs from the R&D team to ensure they meet specifications and requirements.
  • Support the HW industrialization team by providing technical expertise and assistance.
  • Quality and postsales service support in troubleshooting, analysis, and documentation of failure modes.
  • Bringing up to R&D team solutions and ideas after technical inspection.
  • Perform handson soldering tasks to assemble and repair electronic components.
  • Perform PCBA testing to verify the functionality and quality of printed circuit boards.
  • Work with engineers and other team members to develop and implement hardware test procedures.
  • Document test results and findings for future reference.
  • Maintain a clean and organized electronics lab environment.
  • Work in sync with the R&D teams in Spain and Croatia.
  • Help define the working methodology for the HWi team.
  • Support the transition to the manufacturing line.
  • Support actual vehicle testing and general company electronics needs.
Qualifications & Skills

  • Mechatronics/Electronics Engineering or Associate's degree or technical certification in electronics or a related field.
  • Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and experience in supporting the transition from design to production.
  • Familiarity with design and analysis tools relevant to automotive hardware and PCB design.
  • Experience with soldering and PCBA assembly.
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams and independently with mínimal supervision and strong attention to details.
  • Comfortable in an agile, fastpaced, everevolving, highly innovative environment (startup or hightech companies).
  • You have high standards for yourself and everyone you work with.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and fluent English are a must.
Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in handson electronics troubleshooting, testing, and repair.
  • Proficient in ECAD, preferably KiCAD.
  • Experience with PLM (product lifecycle management) and version control software and tools for hardware/electronics.
  • Experience with electronic circuits, impedance control, and components in doublesided boards and multiplelayer PCBs.
  • Proficiency in DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
  • Handson experience in electrical testing and verification (strong skills in test equipment usage: oscilloscope, multimeter, soldering iron, rework station, etc.)
  • Experience working with communications buses such as CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C, UART, ISO-SPI and wireless technologies (WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, etc)
Nice to have

  • Working experience with DSP, FPGA, and/or microcontrollers (preferably ARM).
  • Experience in firmware programming, at least on a medium level.
  • Experience with highvolume manufacturing and inline PCB and PCBA testing.
