He/she will contribute to the implementation, maintenance and monitoring of algorithms in the scope of several projects and business needs.

He/she works under the Data Scientist lead.

What will be the role?

In collaboration with the Data Scientist Lead, the Data Engineer is responsible for the maintenance of existing algorithms
Develops and implements the algorithms, performs quality control, testing and evaluation
Makes the integration between the algorithm and the webapp
Monitor the algorithms deployed by implementing relevant KPIs in productions
Helps on feasibility studies on new projects and business areas
Writes and maintains the technical documentations related to algorithms and the integration

What are we looking?

Engineering master's in development or software engineering
At least 5 years' experience in IT implementation and integration, preferably in industries
Experience in software and product development
C#, Python 3.x, Git,.NET, Azure ML and Angular
Experience with data analysis and machine learning & deep learning algorithms
Experience with deep convolutional neural networks for image classification and object detection is an asset
Knowledge of and experience with classical image processing algorithms is an asset
Agile development knowledge
English and French written and spoken. A third language is an asset
Operational experience working on projects and product development
Capacity to act quickly and decisivel
Good analytical skills
