Your mission
- Support
continuous development of the Registry Solution,
-
migration of legacy data,
-
documentation of the process,
-
maintenance of the data collection system as well as the
-
infrastructure of the EBMT Registry.
Responsibilities and Tasks
EBMT Registry implementation:
- Aid in vendorassisted migration.
- Support
- Create documents, reports and SOPs to document all the processes.
- Perform the UAT of the EBMT Registry.
- Implement and maintain electronic data collection forms in the EBMT Registry.
- Oversee and aid in the infrastructure design and maintenance of the EBMT Registry backend, including ETL processes and data pipelines.
EBMT Registry maintenance:
- Liaise with vendors/third parties to ensure adequate maintenance of the infrastructure of the EBMT Registry.
- Periodically undertake data quality audits. Improvement of the quantity and quality of the data submission together with the data management team.
- Assistance in data reporting tasks.
- Implement tools to streamline error checking, error correction and liaising with members (hospital centres).
- Provide support in the implementation of software for databasetodatabase electronic transmission of data.
- Regular reviews of the database functioning and identifying (possible) problems and risks.
- Support
EBMT Registry Training
- Occasional training of data managers and physicians in member centres on Data Quality and Registry tools.
Requirements:
Fluent in English, excellent oral and written skills.
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related area.
+ 5 years of experience in SQL, Excel, R or Python. - Experience working on projects, with indicators and goals.
- Amazon Web Services/Google Cloud/Microsoft Azure.
- Good communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with people in a multicultural environment.
- Analytical thinking, and strong problemsolving skills. Proactive. Team player. Work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Postgraduate in Computer science or similar
- Experience in
data migration processes and OMOP CDM
- Familiarized with
clinical knowledge and medical data
- (ideally HSC transplant programs and new cell therapies), translating the requirements from physicians into the system.
- Understanding of APIs
- Experience with AWS/Google Cloud/Microsoft AzureWhat we offer

- Hybrid model based at Barcelona EBMT offices 2 days per week and working remotely 3 days.
- Fulltime position and indefinite contract (37.5 hours working week).
- Flexible working hours (starting from 8 to 10 am and finishing accordingly).
- 26 days of vacation per year.
- Salary: gross/year (depending on previous experience).
