Job Profile

As a key member of the team, he/she will be responsible for:

  • Performing Netlist-to-GDS Physical Design including Place-and-Route, Extraction, STA, Timing/SI/Power/EM/IR analysis & closure and Physical Design Verification (LVS/DRC).
  • Physical design related flow development, tool evaluation, flow automation, and enhancement as needed.
  • Service business units for their physical design needs and promote best practices.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers.
Minimum Qualifications

  • 8 years of handson experience in Physical Design Implementation
  • Indepth knowledge and experience of NetlisttoGDS Timing/SI/Power closure flow and tool execution.
  • Debugging experience using Calibre and good understanding of PDV (Physical Design Verification) flow/tools.
  • Independently drive PD services for complex designs on schedule.
  • Be able to solve even the most demanding customer's problems professionally.
  • Hands on work experience on advanced low power physical design flow.
  • Experience with Cadence physical implementation tool suite.
  • Teamplayer: the ability to forge and maintain relationships with peerorganizations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering with 8+ years of solid Physical Design experience using industryleading EDA tools/flows.
  • Adequate scripting skills.
  • Recognized technical leader in multiple areas (Physical Design, Synthesis, STA etc).
