based in our Madrid office.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a
VP in the
Global Consumer & Retail Industry Group you will be a key player in our business strategy and execution.

You will support in the origination and execution of M&A, Equity Capital Market, Leveraged Finance and Acquisition Finance mandates focused on Latin America (main focus) and Europe.

You will participate in the "full cycle" of transactional execution including preparing marketing pitches, reviewing and formulating financial analysis, preparing and presenting client presentations.

You will be working with analysts and associates, as well as assisting more senior bankers within the team and organization.

You will develop / strengthen your Consumer & Retail Industry know-how and demonstrate the ability to become a senior banker who is capable of generating and executing his/her own transactions.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

Build detailed financial models to analyse the impact of mergers, acquisitions, disposals, leveraged buyouts and capital raises on earnings, cash flow, credit profile and ownership.
Perform, define, guide and review company valuations using various valuation methods such as discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, comparable and prepare internal and external presentations.

EXPERIENCE

57 years of mandatory experience in M&A (including internships) from a toptier investment bank

EDUCATION

Graduate from toptier business/engineering schools

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Proven ability to meet deadlines while paying attention to details
Strong Excel, Powerpoint and financial modelling skills
Team worker, with ability to work in a truly international environment and with availability to travel
Emotional intelligence & effective to work in global teams
Strong interest in the Consumer & Retail sectors and emerging markets
Selfdirected, highly motivated, and able to work independently.
Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and English is required
