About our company
Innovamat is a K-12 educational startup focused on bringing the
science of math learning and teaching to
the classroom.


We have built a PreK-8 math curriculum to
structurally change the way students learn, leaving the textbook and workbook behind.


Our curriculum allows students to develop
all conceptual understanding through
discussion and manipulation, while developing
problem solving, reasoning and communication skills.


We have created an all-in-one product ecosystem, from manipulatives to a self-adaptive practice App, to allow them to change their role from lecturing to facilitating and to save teachers time on non-pedagogical tasks.


Our team
We are more than 320 Education and math enthusiasts.

Together, we've been able to reach more than 2.000 schools in 9 countries (United States, Spain, Italy, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Peru and Brazil) with more than students and teachers falling in love with us.


Your mission

Your day to day at Innovamat

Strategic Leadership: Participate in strategic planning by partnering with the leadership team to ensure HR initiatives are aligned with business objectives

Talent Acquisition: Establish innovative recruitment practices to find top-tier talent across all functional areas with the support of the Talent Acquisition Lead.

Employee Development: Create and manage professional development programs, performance management systems, and succession planning initiatives. Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth within the organization.

Employee Engagement: Design and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, job satisfaction, and overall workplace morale. Regularly measure employee sentiment and leverage feedback to drive improvements.

Compensation and Benefits: Manage the design, implementation, and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate employees. Ensure compliance with legal requirements.

HR Operations: Create and implement HR procedures and policies that allow the correct scale and support for the organization. Oversee all HR operational topics across all entities globally, with Spain being the main focus

Organizational Culture: Lead efforts to nurture and strengthen the company's unique culture, values, and core principles. Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.

Change Management: Facilitate organizational change initiatives, ensuring effective communication and support during periods of transformation.


What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of HR experience
  • Proven experience (3 years) doing a similar leadership role, with a strong track record of developing and implementing HR strategies.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Indepth knowledge of Spanish labour laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of business stakeholders
  • Experience creating and implementing HR best practices
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build, mentor, and develop highperforming HR teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and employee engagement.
  • Results oriented, highly analytical and organized. Used to using data to drive decisionmaking

It will be great if

  • Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience scaling a People team across regions.
  • Fluent in Catalan.
