- Creation of software architecture in UML to ensure a robust and scalable software system which adheres to industry best practices and standards.
- Ensuring that the software system is scalable, maintainable, and secure by making high-level design choices and setting technical standards for the project.
- Review of software requirements for feasibility within the overall software architecture.
- Specification of software component requirements.
- Review of software low-level design to ensure that they fit into the software architecture and meet the component requirements as well as the quality standards.
- Collaboration with other project stakeholders to understand their needs and to ensure that the software aligns with the project's goals.
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to software development teams, mentoring less experienced developers, and sharing knowledge on best practices and architectural principles.
- Evaluating and selecting third-party libraries and platforms that best suit the project's requirements while considering factors such as cost, performance, and compatibility.
- Identifying and addressing potential technical risks and challenges, proactively assessing the system's architecture to identify any potential issues, and devising strategies to mitigate them.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive software architecture documentation, including design decisions, architectural patterns, and technical standards, to serve as a reference for the development team and other stakeholders throughout the product roadmap.
- Degree in Electronics/ Telecommunication Engineering, Automation, Computer Science or similar.
- Technical background in embedded software development in C.
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR and corresponding Vector tools (mainly DaVinci Developer).
- Knowledge of C for embedded applications.
- Good knowledge of UML/SysML.
- Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink for code development.
- Administration of Git SCM.
- Experience in working in a V model development process (ASPICE, CMMI).
- Knowledge of embedded software architectures for automotive applications.
- Software design in UML/SysML, preferably using Enterprise Architect.
- Experience with motor control and/or power electronics.
- Previous experience in code development.
- Experience in automotive communication protocols like LIN or CAN.
- Experience with functional safety (ISO26262) is a plus.
- C1 level of English is required. Spanish or german will be valued.
