Liquid Bulk Planning Analyst, you will be part of Air Products' Supply Chain organisation
  • Europe
an Bulk Supply Chain. You will lead demand planning/forecasting and become an expert in tactical planning and sales tools and processes.





LOCATION:
Hybrid working - Hersham (UK) or Cornella (Spain) or Diegem (Belgium) or Siewierz (Poland)

EXPERIENCE:
Degree in engineering or business; having a supply chain background would be beneficial

As the Liquid Bulk Planning Analyst, You Will
-
_ Lead demand planning / forecasting_

  • Own and lead the tools and the collaborative process associated with demand planning.
  • Utilise all tools to ensure the demand plan includes statistical forecasts, business intelligence and prospects.

_ Become a tactical planning tool and processes content expert_

  • Liaise with the sub regional planners and logistics teams to complete the weekly tactical plans.
  • Maintain the database and all the interconnects such as forecasted power prices and inventory levels while also producing the EU weekly Tactical plan output reports and communicating with the regional tactical planners.
  • Complete the weekly NST (Network savings tracking) process, which is a plan rerun designed to ID opportunities, (retrospective view).
  • Provide rerun support (replanning) should they be required by tactical planners to ensure the optimum solution is provided by the planning optimizing tools.

_ Become a monthly sales and operations process and tools system expert_

  • Coordinate the sales and operations cycle and individual runs by each sub region.
  • Engage key stakeholders in each sub region to ensure the maintenance and integrity of the database for key input parameters such as driver hours, vehicle capacities and costs, power costs, plant capabilities etc.
  • Maintain and further Develop Country/Regional S&OP reporting packs.
  • Support analysis of AIMMS optimized run ́s and the Fixed versus Free choices (opportunities).
  • Support evaluations of new plants, new fleets, fleet or plant adjustments, new contracts etc.

As the Liquid Bulk Planning Analyst, You

Already Are or Have

  • Engineering or mathbased degree.
  • Strong analytical skills and can solve complex problems in a logical fashion.
  • Able to work on own initiative and collectively as a team.
  • A highly motivated, selfstarting individual
  • Able to effectively review own performance to ensure compliance to job requirements.


  • Excellent PC skills

  • Excel, Qlik, SQL, Access and display an aptitude to learn.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvements and make recommendations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: proficient communication skills, both written and verbal with demonstrated ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organisation.
  • Drive consistency and transparency of information presentation.
  • Establish graphic projections of plant loading/supply/demand profiles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
