Great opportunity to work for a global power and renewable energy investment company who are committed to develop, construct and operate portfolios of solar pv, wind and battery storage assets.

The Role:

Coordinate all the development activities in Spain and create new opportunities to develop a project pipeline.
Identify Spanish regions with high potential for greenfield project or for brownfield pipeline acquisition.
Originate solar PV, Wind and BESS projects opportunities in Spain both 'greenfield' and 'brownfield' and perform preliminary opportunities or/and project analysis working with the international teams.
Source, structure and negotiate codevelopment agreements with local developers and manage relationships with codevelopment partners.
Drive development & permitting process of projects to ensure a timely Ready to Build status and provide environmental issues expertise when necessary.
Control on costs and cashflow within the development budget Investment Assistance, secure internal approvals and support the Investment team in transactions as needed.

The Individual:

Deep understanding of 'greenfield' development process for Solar projects in Spain (including site control, securing interconnection, permitting process, etc.).
Good knowledge of associated development costs and good knowledge of securing land and evaluating quality of sites for wind, solar or BESS projects.
Electricity market and permitting process in Spain.
Native Spanish, English fluent.
Business and/or Engineering educational background.
