CO2 Project Engineer - Madrid, España - Capital Energy

In Capital Energy we are loooking for a CO2 Project Engineer for Alkeymia (a company linked to Capital Energy), As You will be responsible for developing carbon utilisation projects from conception (origination, sizing and launch) to completion. Ensure that projects are executed on time, on cost and on quality.

Funciones:

Identification, evaluation and sizing of markets and new businesses and applications in carbon utilisation (evaluation and selection of technologies for CO2 capture, use, transport, storage, carbon offsetting, etc.).

Providing inputs and modelling cases to define the value proposition from a technical and economic point of view for new opportunities.

Prioritise and lead new project proposals, aligned with the company's renewable and hydrogen promotion strategy, from scope definition to WBS, budget definition and coordination of programme execution with the different areas of the company.

Responsible for the overall execution of projects from scope and budget definition to the subsequent commercialisation phase, coordinating cross-functional teams.

Keeping up to date on innovative carbon capture technologies by participating in conferences and seminars, and driving internal knowledge exchange and trainings needed to support product commercialisation.

Knowledge and monitoring of the environment (market, regulation, technical standards, technologies, Capital Energy developments, etc.).

Collaboration with the engineering teams, defining the requirements until the industrialisation of the project.

Identification of synergies with other companies to improve and consolidate the market position (collaborations and alliances) and accelerate the time-to-market of new businesses.

Requirements:

Grado superior en ingeniería, química, agrónomo, forestal y similares.

Conocimiento mercado energético.

Conocimiento gestión biomasa.

Valorable formación financiera (MBA, ADE, Marketing, etc).

Al menos 3-5 años de experiencia en puestos de desarrollo de negocio.

Experiencia y conocimiento técnico en tecnologías innovadoras de captura y uso de carbono, hidrógeno renovable, industria química y en energías renovables.

Experiencia en diseño de plantas industriales, implementación y operación especialmente en el campo de la captura y uso de carbono.

Inglés (al menos B2).
