WAME is the sports social platform that is revolutionizing the way young athletes connect with their teammates, families, coaches and other sport entities.
We do this with a huge variety of technologies, solutions, and infrastructure to reach the performance expected. We recently transitioned from an MVP to full production, which is an exciting time for the company.

About the role
As a
Node.
Js Backend Developer, you will contribute to achieving the highest quality and reliability for Wame's software.
You will be part of a Squad, working in an agile environment that will take care of the evolution from the current ecosystem of solutions to a platform able to lead a sector, with a clear milestone of quality, performance, and reliability.
We combine strategic viewpoints in engineering with continuous improvements and updates in a platform that wants to lead the sector.
About you
- You have solid experience in developing robust and scalable
APIs and Services with
NodeJS, TypeScript and
MongoDB. - Deep experience in microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Able to work in a varied environment, handling the entire software development life cycle, end to end.
- You are proficient in the unit and functional testing in NodeJS.
- You understand the principles of Quality Assurance in software development.
- You are capable of analyzing a problem and define a clear action plan to tackle it.
- You have been working in an Agile environment using Scrum or Kanban in crossfunctional teams.
- You are comfortable in an international environment, where English is our common language.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information System, Telecom or 5+ years equivalent experience in an engineering role.
