The teamThe Engineering team at Vonage is a fast growing group of talented engineers. They face multiple challenges associated with high performance, distributed systems, and processing large volumes of data in real time.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a team dedicated to transforming the data pipeline to a real-time event-driven one.

The team has numerous data related exciting initiatives in the works, with ample opportunities to make your own mark. The roleDesign & build systems to process and analyze tens of millions of daily eventsReal-time data processing using stream technologies (Kafka streaming or similar)

Work with big data technologiesWrite efficient and scalable codeDevelop on a public cloud infrastructureThe StackAWS (RDS, S3, EMR, ...)
Google Cloud (BigQuery, GDS)KafkaJava (somePython)Docker, KubernetesAnything needed to achieve our goalsMust have:

Strong software engineering skills with interest in data.
JavaSQL / NoSQLExperience dealing with event-driven pipeline (Kafka or other).Willingness to learn and use new technology/programming language.
