Social Media Manager:

We're on a mission at Product School
to empower people to build better products

As the global leader in Product Management education and certification, we train Product Managers at all career stages and entire Product teams within organizations.

Delivered live by globally recognized practitioners, our training empowers our 15,000+ graduates to ramp up faster, lead more effective teams, and deliver better results.

In addition to offering the industry's most recognized Product Management credentials, we publish a wealth of free content online, hold regular career fairs, and host the world's premier Product conference: ProductCon.

Joining Product School means

you're coming aboard at an exciting time: we have established an incredible product with a strong product-market fit that is beloved by customers, (check out our reviews on Course Report, Yelp, and Quora).

We need you to help supercharge our momentum to accelerate our growth.

You're joining an organization that is scaling fast, bolstered by Series A funding from Leeds Illuminate and the ever-increasing importance of the Product Management discipline.

You'll be part of a dynamic global team that works remotely across multiple countries and comes together online (and occasionally in-person) for events and team-building.

What you'll do

As part of the Marketing team, the Senior Social Media Manager will own Product School's social channels and run day-to-day execution.

This includes Product School's presence on Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok. This person will dream up and execute new content programs and formats to drive brand awareness and engagement.

Your responsibilities will be

  • Set the strategy for Product School's social presence, ensuring all tactics map to company objectives.
  • Come up with creative concepts for socialonly campaigns, leveraging insights from Product School's large and diverse Product Management community and relevant cultural trends.
  • Develop and drive processes including planning, calendaring, creative development, publishing, moderation, and reporting.
  • Lead all program execution, including daytoday content sourcing and creation as well as postcampaign analysis, optimizations, and postmortems.
  • Quickly develop engaging graphics and short video clips based on our certifications, blog content, events, current industry trends and much more
  • Serve as a thoughtpartner for Content, Paid, and Event Marketing managers; supporting their campaigns on social and scale through owned, paid, and earned channels.
  • Operate and own social tools

The qualifications we are looking for

  • 3+ years managing social media channels with demonstrated growth, ideally with a content creation background.
  • Experience managing large communities targeting B2B and B2C prospects
  • Ability to tell a clear and compelling story in any social medium and understand how to craft content native to the platform
  • Comfortable being the "voice" of a brand, and being the first line of defense in deciding when/how we respond to culture.
  • Experience running, optimizing, and measuring social campaigns (both paid and organic).
  • Experience working on crossfunctional marketing programs.
  • A selfstarter who has a vision and can execute against it without daytoday guidance. You offer solutions along with the problems.
  • Savviness and scrappiness, while maintaining a highquality bar.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and build out processes to navigate it in the future.
  • Proficiency with a range of Adobe Creative Products (Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of video editing
  • Native English speaker

Nice to haves:

  • Familiarity with the Product Management technology industry is a strong bonus.
  • Confident to appear in front of the camera to record video content
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or the equivalent.
  • Experience in setting up guidelines and best practices.
