    Job Purpose:

    UPL is looking for a motivated and hands-on European Indirect Tax Analyst that will play a key role in the overall Tax function, partnering closely with the European Tax Manager (Line Manager). He/She will be in charge of VAT determination, compliance and reporting, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders and contributing to improve the overall European Indirect Tax process towards consistency and standardization.

    Job Description:

  • Timely and accurate filings of all VAT returns and payment's due dates
  • Necessary SAP data for VAT compliance and carefully reviewing and analyzing it
  • Monthly VAT health-checks/reconciliations to ensure consistency and quality in data shared with third party tax advisors
  • Monitor the indirect tax compliance process for all the European entities
  • In tax audits and Tax Admin. requirements - compiling and preparing requested information
  • Day-to-day business indirect tax queries (closely interact and provide support to different stakeholders on VAT issues)
  • Improving indirect tax processes and automation
  • Qualifications and Skills:

  • 4 years minimum of experience in a similar role or in a Big4/Law firm (Indirect Taxes)
  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Law
  • Post-Graduate/Master's degree in taxation is a definite plus
  • Knowledge of European indirect taxes and regulations
  • Advanced English, French would be a plus
  • SAP experience is highly preferred
  • High organizational capability
  • Ability to take ownership and work independently
  • Strong problem-solving skills, motivation, action oriented, driven for results, agility and proactiveness
