Are you an experienced Finance Manager looking to continue your career in an exciting and fast-growing company? Huboo have a fantastic opportunity to join the Finance team, working from our Madrid office. This position will suit a bilingual Spanish/English qualified finance professional. Occasional travel to the UK may be required.

Huboo are a technology led ecommerce fulfilment company, focused on helping online sellers grow their business by providing global fulfilment, we are VC funded and continue to grow at a rapid pace.

The role:

Key responsibilities for the Finance Manager:

Ensuring management accounts are prepared in line with our month end reporting cycle
Managing supplier payments
Ensuring customers are invoiced accurately and pay on time
Collecting and interpreting financial information
Providing payroll support to the group payroll manager
Working with outsourced payroll provider to ensure country payroll correct
Managing budgets
Providing financial reports (expenses, account payables, account receivables, etc)
Finding cost reduction opportunities
Manage the country finance team
Managing relationships with external advisors

Focus areas:

Ensure compliance with all statutory filing obligations e.g. accounts, tax returns, payroll filings etc.
Timely and accurate preparation of month end reporting packs
Integrate data from warehouse systems with finance system to ensure accurate financial reporting
Make sure courier costs are accurately booked in the period they relate to
Provide monthly analysis of budget to actual variances

Requirements:

CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification or similar
Experience in local country finance laws
Local statutory filing experience
The ability to work independently
Confidence and resolve to hold processes and procedures in place
Excellent attention to detail
Leadership experience
Risk management skills (cashflow mismatches, credit risks, interest rate risks, etc)
Experience of local country audit regulations
Previous experience of managing the month end process
A/P and A/R experience
Experience of working across multiple countries
Strong IT skills including advanced excel, finance software (cloudbased system e.g. Xero/SAP ByDesign beneficial)
Collaborated to improve processes and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency

Martin Bysh (CEO) and Paul Dodd (CTO) found that the demands and struggles that came with picking, packing, and shipping their products was becoming impossible.

They considered outsourcing their fulfilment but could not find a company that allowed them to remain in the driving seat of their growing business.

Paul and Martin soon created Huboo's unique Hub Model.
