Step into the world of energy trading as an Origination Intern at Axpo Iberia

What you will do:

Identify and establish contact with potential developers and customers (upstream and downstream)
Understand, initiate and followup negotiations of structured products and PPAs with current and new customers
Support Senior Origination Team in structured negotiations
Monitor and evaluate different risks derived from structured products and PPA
Understand and analyze client's needs as well as initiate structured solutions for different type of customers
Maintain good relationships with clients (and potential clients) and keep open lines with them
Coordinate with Middle Office and Back Office teams to solve different Front Office needs
Monitor market and credit risks with a close coordination with Risk and Middle Office teams
Supervise and solve issues regarding the entire lifecycle of sales (booking, metering, invoicing)

What you bring & who you are:

You hold a University Degree in Engineering, Mathematic-based studies or Economics preferably (alternatives are not discarded either).
Previous professional experience will be a plus but not is strictly necessary
You are passionate about Energy markets, energy trading knowledge is considered an advantage
You are a proactive team player with an entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to learn
You possess strong communication and analytical skills combined with customercentric attitude
You are fluent in English and Spanish
