Team

Are you passionate about digital? We are looking for a Technical Project Lead to lead digital projects for the Devoteam Group- The team is formed by SW developers distributed between France and Portugal, with one general workstream (standard coding) and one low code workstream specific to OutSystems developments.

As a Technical Project Lead, your duties will be focused mostly on the general stream.

This team supports other IT teams on 4 functional areas:
Finance & Ops
HR
Sales & Marketing
Identity & access management

Job details
The Technical Project Lead has managerial, functional and technical skills. He/she must be able to train his teams, supervise and motivate the developers he manages as a coordinator.

The main responsibilities of the position are:

Technical leader & development:

Drive the delivery team in their Agile processes to ensure efficient delivery of the different assignments both in RUN and BUILD modes.
Be a referent on SW development best practices, ensuring they are properly defined and applied
Responsible for quality assurance
Build a testing automation strategy. Ensure the quality of the code thanks to the implementation of analysis tools and automatic code
Set up and monitor unit tests and functional tests
Comply with deadlines and ensure commitments are met
Monitoring of digital business issues and tools: keeping abreast of new technologies and identifying innovations and evaluating them.
Carry out quality control of projects / developments delivered

Lead digital projects:

Define and maintain the project schedule, control of the good progress of developments, definition of technical choices
Regularly communicate to the Custom Apps manager the project monitoring indicators

Analysis, design and documentation:

Support other IT team's leads in the documentation of business needs, representing the technical team and providing a specialized point of view when assessing feasibility and complexity of the deliverables required
Facilitation of functional and technical design meetings with development teams (internal or external)
Drafting of project framework documents as part of preliminary studies (project objectives, scope, project team, etc.)
Conduct research prior to project / enhancement requests. Build architecture, sequence and any other relevant UML diagrams necessary for the proper development of the required work
Writing detailed functional and technical specification documents (or documented User Stories in the context of Agile projects)
Together with the IT team leads, own functional specifications of the IT solutions (and ensure that they are kept up to date as the releases progress)
Provide functional support to users
Proactively communicate with stakeholders in order to provide status updates and keep transparency during the entire lifecycle of the projects, supported by the Custom Apps manager

Profile:

Crossfunctional management capacity
Ability to functional modeling
Editorial and conceptual quality
Bac+4/5 (Master 2 level)
Coming from either a technical training (ideally a Grande Ecole d'Ingénieurs) or a businessoriented training (such as a Business School with a specialty in IT project management) with a digital component
5 years minimum in IS project management (RUN & Application Projects) with significant experience of digital projects
2 years minimum experience in Agile project management/scrum master duties
Fluent English (written and spoken)
