Job Description:


Job Purpose:

Business Development role responsible for translating vendor/technology growth plans internally and to drive them in specific strategic segments. Aligned with marketing on MDF and with the wider sales organisation on specialised opportunities


Responsibilities:


  • Grow profitable market share by executing the Business Unit strategy in full alignment under clear managerial direction
-
Negotiation of key tenders and large deals wi th complete knowledge of all job functions and broad industry best practices, techniques and standards.

  • Optimises results by
    driving sales out of agreed vendor portfolio including new vendor identification, onboarding and other business development initiatives
  • Demonstrates a solid customer engagement strategy including multiple parties and levels that drives successful business outcomes
  • Take solution and service offerings to market including TaaS and ownership of quarterly vendor business planning and execution
  • Drives overall
    vendor management Creates customer unique selling propositions that protects Margin integrity and promotes long term value based customer engagement
  • Enable and help the sales teams to win and grow share of wallet and market share
  • Relationship and engagement with vendors and stakeholders to ensure TD SYNNEX is seen as the
    "Trusted Advisor":

  • Develops tailored customer value propositions against clear understanding of customer business requirements
  • Maintains Full knowledge of assigned Vendor's product / service line

Knowledge Skills and Experience:


  • Good emotional intelligence with
    strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • 5+ years of experience in the IT industry with channel and/or vendor at a business development level, ideally from a sales or product marketing background
  • Strong orientation towards and
    experience in services and solution selling with strategic planning and business case development skills and experience
  • Experience of working within a matrix structure, selfmanagement, High energy and motivation
  • Able to create and conduct formal presentations and interact effectively with all levels of management, negotiate skillfully and promote/sell ideas persuasively.
  • Possesses strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead,
    think out of the box, be assertive and drive tasks to completion
  • Able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and
    build solid, effective working relationships with others.
  • Strong

  • Strong Power Point skills
  • Experience with
    peripherals
    Ergonomics Category
  • High level of English (required) Other EU Languages (a plus)
