About the Role


Uber Eats is looking for a Senior Operations Manager in Spain for its Central team to help manage the supply growth of Uber Eats.

The Central Operations team is scaling the most impactful projects across Spain.

The team's unique focus on the entire country allows us to dream big and drive outsized change in areas like marketplace dynamics, supply growth or restaurant engagement.

Within Central Ops, our

Courier Operations team is focused on optimizing courier growth, experience, and engagement to support Uber Eats' growth in Spain. This role calls for a combination of deep operational know-how, analytical skills, and project/partner management.


What you'll do

  • Proactively scope and lead multiple projects to help grow our supply in Spain to fuel Uber's demand growth in Spain
  • Develop strategies and create processes and tools to measure and improve the operational performance of couriers (reliability, timeliness, quality, safety, cost )
  • Define critical metrics and develop dashboards to track our delivery performance in Spain; report findings to senior leadership to define longterm strategy and decisionmaking
  • Collaborate and work crossfunctionally with other operations teams as well as Product, Finance, Legal and Support to ensure insights inform broader critical initiatives

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of operational and analytical experience in Operations, Tech or Finance/Consulting
  • Experience with quantitative data analysis, deep measurable insights, and modelling
  • Selfstarter with an analytical orientation; compassionate and leans in and embraces rolling up your sleeves with your team; skilled at balancing between shortterm needs and longterm investments; flourishes with change and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Bias toward action and constant push for clarity and execution
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in business, economics, math, engineering or other related field)
  • Fluent in English and Spanish since you will be interacting with team members in Spain, but also with people from across the globe

Bonus points

  • Exceptional Excel / data management skills; SQL proficiency is strongly preferred
  • Adaptability and autonomy you are adept at balancing priorities and projects in a continuously moving environment
  • Collected and calm under pressure you have superb organizational and interpersonal skills, integrity, and great followthrough on tasks, and operate well under pressure and tight timeframes
