iVascular is a fast-growing medical device company founded in 2010 with the aim of developing innovative solutions for vascular disorders.

Our team has over 30 years of experience in the field, having contributed to the development of one of the first drug-eluting stents.

We are seeking an R+D Project Leader to spearhead the development of new products.

Key Objectives

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the technical and economic goals set by the company for product development, ensuring that developed products meet high quality standards and policies.

Main Responsibilities

Lead the development of medical devices from design to manufacture, including bench testing and reporting.
Oversee the verification stage and generate necessary documentation for regulatory submission.
Define input and output requirements for device design.
Develop and implement project work plans.
Coordinate and supervise project execution.
Ensure technical feasibility and quality of proposed solutions.
Manage the manufacturing process, including laser cutting, deoxidation, shape setting, welding, and electropolishing.
Review production documentation and characterization of manufactured units.
Plan unit production and draft reports of work plans.
Lead continuous improvement of the manufacturing process and implement quality or cost improvements.
Investigate and resolve potential design failures.
SUPervise the maintenance of machines, equipment, tools, and workrooms.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a similar field.
Previous experience in R+D departments.
Proficiency in CAD systems (Solidworks and Rhinoceros) and Ansys.
Strong analytical and multidisciplinary skills, creativity, integrity, cooperative spirit, communication skills.
