Senior Frontend Product Engineer

Valencia, Spain - Hybrid

In this integral position, we'll look to you not only for your comprehensive technical knowledge in front end development, but also for your contribution to product discovery through brainstorming, problem-solving and alignment sessions with the broader team.

Your experience will be crucial in guiding more junior engineers on your team, ensuring we build and deliver truly user-centric and innovative products.

A one thousand feet view of our tech stack:

Our data stores include ElasticSearch, MongoDB and PostgreSQL
Our server side and data pipelines are built in Python and FastAPI
Everything is hosted on AWS, on EC2 or in lambda functions

Responsibilities

Work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers and other roles in an agile team to develop and implement new features
Participate in product discovery phases, bring invaluable insights regarding userneeds and potential solutions

Requirements:

Over 5 years of professional frontend development experience across several projects, with a focus on HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), Node.

JS. Nice if you have some experience with Typescript

Proven expertise with modern web development tools and libraries such as , Redux or
Understanding of crossbrowser compatibility, and accessibility standards
Must have experience with source control systems like Git
Selfdriven, detailoriented, with a strong commitment to quality
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Embraces and promotes development best practices, such as SOLID, unit testing, CI/CD

Bonus points and nice-to-have

Experience with web performance optimisation
Some knowledge of backend frameworks in Python, like FastAPI, or demonstrable experience working with backend technologies
An appetite for learning new technologies
Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Mongo DB and ElasticSearch
Familiarity with DevOps and AWS, as well as Docker
