Meet HII's Mission Technologies Division
HII Mission Technologies provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Federal Civilian, Defense, and international government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.
Work as a small team of engineers on Naval Station Rota, Spain performing TADIL connectivity with ships and shore stations, basic use of UHF radio communications, equipment and system installations onboard Navy vessels, medium to upper-level computer program knowledge/set-up, Fiber Optic and Ethernet cable troubleshooting, and overall system troubleshooting.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of the mission, roles, functions, organizational structures and operations of Coalition, Joint and Navy data links.
- Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions of Navy Data Links, particularly Line-OfSight Link 11 and Link 16; and support shipboard operators with troubleshooting to establish Common Operating Pictures.
- Ability to develop and conduct training to ensure proper operation of data link systems/equipment; and communicate well, both orally and in writing; skilled in providing technical advice.
Minimum Qualifications:
5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- 5+ years experience with Navy Link 11 and Link 16 systems
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- COMSEC 301 Local Element User qualified
- Valid US Passport
- Valid US Driver's License
Preferred Requirements:
- CompTIA Security+ (Security+)
- Cyber IT/CSFW baseline certification
