We have an excellent opportunity for AMS Data Officer Europe. The AMS resource allows us to carry out nonintrusive research to improve protocols and the care given to donkeys in the UK and Europe. The purpose of this role is to be the central point for data entry for European subsidiaries and to support the development of the charity's employees in their use of the Animal Management System


About you:

Able to demonstrate an excellent standard of I.T. skills, proficient in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Excellent observation and auditing skills.
A good understanding of veterinary terminology.
Broad understanding and knowledge of Donkeys.
Able to demonstrate experience of delivering a broad range of successful training content, including the use of a wide range of resources, setting clear standards and procedures to monitor and evaluate the success of that training.
Able to demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills, which includes the ability to communicate effectively, clearly and diplomatically and adept at flexing communication style to different individuals.
Able to demonstrate excellent written communications skills to include reports, which should be objective and balanced.
Full driving license.


About the role:

Your principal duties and responsibilities will include
Manage and maintain data standards by ensuring all data captured is detailed and accurate.
Assist with developmental changes to the system by listening to end users and understanding their needs.
Assist in the implementation and improvement of AMS systems and procedures in particular identifying areas for improvement within processes.
Provide training and support on the AMS, endorsing its use across UK, Ireland and Europe.
Provide a translation service for European users to ensure better quality and consistency of data.
Provide regular updates to the UK AMS Manager on any matters concerning the AMS and the training of employees.
Be an ambassador of the AMS, promoting its use and the importance of timely and accurate data entry.
Build good relations and collaborations across the charity to ensure that AMS is understood and used.
Provide effective and accurate reports from AMS system for routine reporting and out of box research projects.
Assist with regular audits of the AMS to ensure integrity of data is maintained.
Ensure data entry is up to date and entered in a timely manner.
Ensure that any information kept on file is stored in line with GDPR and retention guidelines.
Liaise with the AMS GB Team on changes, developments and training.
Maintain a high level of professional expertise and attend regular training and CPD.

This is a fulltime permanent contract, starting as soon as possible, working 40 hours a week, and is based at El Refugio del Burrito site at Dona Rosa, Bodonal de la Sierra, Extremadura.
