Data Engineer*:

Madrid | working from home up to 60% | Reference 6075

What You Will Do:

- optimize data workflows for cloud-based environments, focusing on scalability and cost-effectiveness
- engineer scalable and efficient data pipelines ensuring seamless data processing
- design and implement GraphQL and REST APIs backends, fostering seamless data access and integration
- collaborate with frontend developers to ensure smooth data interactions

What You Bring:

- proven track record as a Data Scientist with a strong emphasis on software engineering and experience in software design
- proficiency in backend development using Python, with experience in frameworks like FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, etc. Previous exposure to GraphQL it's a plus. We are currently using PostgreSQL for most project
- solid experience with DevOps and MLOps practices. Exposure to tools like Terraform, DevOps pipelines, automated testing, model monitoring, version control (git), CI/CD, and containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
- good knowledge of cloud computing platforms, in particular Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure
- experience implementing data transformations in a data warehouse (Spark, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, dbt (data build tool), etc)
- high english level, both written and spoken, to interact with international colleagues
