- Strategic development and setting objectives related to Technical Safety & HSSE for Wärtsilä Gas Solution
- Support Market-Driven R&D in partnership with Innovation and Sales teams
- Assist in Sales by providing technical specifications for standard products within the Technical Safety realm
- Manage the Product Portfolio through standardization and optimization of revisions, versions, and options
- Establish Ways of Working and Business Process Models aligned with Sales strategy for Wärtsilä Gas Solution
- Conduct hazard assessments and risk evaluations to identify safety hazards
- Provide project support and commissioning assistance
- Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Offer training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and practices
- Investigate incidents, determine root causes, and make recommendations for prevention
- Conduct safety audits and inspections to address potential hazards
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance safety measures
- Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation
- Stay informed about new safety regulations and industry best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Process Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a technical safety role
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and industry standards
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively

We are looking for a dynamic Technical Safety / HSSE Engineer to join our team at Wärtsila Gas Solution. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in safety management and technical process engineering, with the skills to identify and address safety hazards effectively.
