    Supply Chain Demand Planner, Global Demand & Order Management

    Hybrid role - (3 days office, 2 days WFH)

    International travel may be necessary.

    Applicants can be located in the UK or EU

    Are you enthusiastic about optimizing supply chain operations on a worldwide scale? Our team is looking for a dedicated Supply Chain Demand Planner to join us. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing key aspects of demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management, including stock reconciliation.     Pharmanovia's expertise encompasses Cardiovascular, Oncology, Endocrinology, and Neurology.

    The Role:

    • Handle customer orders and inquiries.
    • Lead and administer S&OP planning for assigned market portfolios.
    • Regularly reconcile weekly and monthly stock levels.
    • Execute stock reconciliations to maintain accuracy between physical inventory and system records.
    • Monitor and analyze the DIO metric to evaluate inventory turnover efficiency.
    • Spot opportunities to decrease DIO by implementing strategies like demand forecasting and safety stock optimization.
    • Manage inventory returns from customers or distribution channels.
    • Assess returned inventory.
    • Supervise stock and inventory levels of major customers and consignment distributors.
    • Provide early alerts for potential stock shortages and report significant problems to management.
    • Offer support to warehousing and distribution teams by generating various reports and tools.
    • Resolve supply chain issues related to bridging stock gaps.
    • Provide reporting and analysis support for inventory and procurement.
    • Spot areas for improvement, construct business cases, and engage with stakeholders to develop innovative solutions.

    About You:

    • Strong academic background, preferably with a degree in a relevant field.
    • Experience in Supply Chain, particularly in Pharma.
    • Experience in S&OP, Demand Planning, and Forecasting.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Demonstrated inventory management expertise, ideally in a global setting.
    • Familiarity with inventory control principles and best practices.
    • Knowledge of inventory valuation methods and control systems.
    • Enthusiastic, motivated, with strong organizational skills.
    • Self-driven, capable of working independently or collaboratively in a results-oriented environment.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
