Team Intro

The category team plays a core role in designing the overall category strategy and execution plan and driving the business to success by win-win cooperation together with the merchants and creators.


Responsibilities:


  • Define the longterm strategy, leading key initiatives, and setting future direction of the category
  • Responsible for the P&L of the Home&Living category
  • Provide industry knowledge and leveraging own network to ensure success of category
  • Hire and develop a strong team
  • Acquire and incubate Home&Living brand principals, distributors and merchants to support category growth
  • Discover innovative collaborative models that fit into merchants' shortterm and longterm development plans, and invest platform resources effectively and efficiently
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally to unlock merchants' potential on platform, drive GMV growth and adoption of livestream and short videos
  • Navigate through ambiguity, adapting to frequent changes and influencing key stakeholders to drive decisions for the category
  • Solve key challenges in business growth by strong collaboration with crossfunction teams.

Qualifications:


  • 10+ years of experience in Home&Living categories of ecommerce business; a mixed experience in both platform side and brand/merchant side is highly preferred
  • 3+ years experience in people management, leading diverse and large teams
  • Experience of owning P&L on an ecommerce platform/marketplace
  • Sales orientated mindset, selfstarter with strong communication skills who can manage strategic merchant relationships
  • Strong knowledge of the merchant landscape, consumer demands, digital evolution and mobile transformation
  • A good team player, fast learner and open to changes.
  • Attention to detail, affinity with numbers, logical and strong in problem solving.
  • Familiar with TikTok and other content platforms; experience in ecommerce is a plus.
  • Strong connections with brands and distributors are preferred.
