Your role as Jefe de Ventas
:

In the role of sales leader, you will be jointly responsible for the success of 158 stores in Spain. You will lead the Regional Managers, each of whom is responsible for their own group of stores. Zeeman is expanding fast in Spain, so the number of stores will grow over time.
You will encourage personal development by guiding both behavior and results. You will also have an exemplary role and ensure optimal involvement, employability and autonomy for the Regional Managers.

To achieve maximum returns, you will translate Zeeman's vision and strategy into achievable goals.


Your main responsibilities:

  • You will be travelling a lot during the week trough Spain.
  • Driving turnover and operating the stores in different districts.
  • Appointing, training, coaching and managing Regional Managers.
  • Ensuring development of the team by managing them in a peopleoriented as well as resultsoriented way.
  • Periodic reporting of targets and figures, including plan of action for deviations.
  • Monitoring, analyzing and implementing improvements that lead to advances in business operations and KPIs.
  • Achieving countryplan priorities on an annual basis.
  • Developing and implementing the mediumterm business plan.
  • Making independent decisions within the scope of the district budget approved annually by the directors.
  • Conveying Zeeman's core values (_Zuinig_, involved and unconventional) and leading by example in this regard. ('Zuinig' is a Dutch concept which conveys the fact that we are both caring and costconscious.)
  • Exchanging ideas and opportunities between Regional Managers and fellow Sales Leaders.
  • Keeping the Regional Managers informed of developments within Zeeman.
  • Appreciating good results and celebrating successes as a team.
  • Organizing and directing national and district meetings.
  • Picking up various facilitative jobs that require local Spanish knowledge.
  • Direct collaboration and communication with other Sales Leaders and various serviceoffice departments on all Salesoriented projects within Zeeman.

What do you bring to the table?:


  • Strong command of both the Spanish and English language in both speech and writing is essential.
  • Universitylevel education.
  • At least several years of work experience as a Regional Manager within a retail company, preferably an international retail company.
  • Strong numerical insight combined with committed leadership
  • Experience with staff management.
