As Cash flow controller and insurance manager you ́ll be in charge of the following responsibilities:

About the role

Cash flow controlling for Spain, including:

  • Preparation of Cash Flow forecast, budget, long range plan and monthly expectations both indirect and direct method.
  • Month end closing activities for cash flow.
  • Actuals deep review (identifying, extracting mainly from SAP and other systems
- maintaining, and evaluating information, conciliation with direct method) and delivery of actuals month end analysis vs forecasts/budget.

  • Follow up and control over cash outflows according to billing and payment terms.
  • Close relation with the accounting and controlling department to assure completeness and accuracy.
  • Propose and implement cash efficiency actions.
  • Coordination of insurance claims within the system and among the involved parties. Oversee business compliance with terms.
  • Annual collection and analysis of insurance and risk data (e.g., property and asset values, financial information, stock / logistics information)
  • Information request from operative team and managing information flow with external parties into the system.
  • Assurance of proper insurance model and tools.
  • Dealing with external stakeholders (Insurance companies, lawyers, )

Experience and skills

  • Finance related university degree.
  • 34 years finance experience, with at least 23 years cashflow background (must).
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP.
  • Excel knowledge.
  • Excellent written and presentation skills.
  • High English level is a must, to be able to communicate frequently in English both written and spoken.
  • Highly selfmotivated and proven multitasker
  • Team player, used to work and collaborate with different departments, having a business view.
