    Maintenance Technician

    The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of production processes by carrying out maintenance and repair work on electrical and/or mechanical installations or equipment. This includes production machinery, rotating equipment, electrical installations, transport systems, buildings, facilities, and constructions.

    Operating within a production/technical department, the primary focus is on preventive and corrective maintenance to prevent malfunctions of equipment, apparatus, machinery, or systems used in the production process.

    This involves troubleshooting to keep the production process running and performing tasks to prevent future disturbances. The role may be limited to a single technical discipline or require skills in related technical areas, depending on the facility's size.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Conduct inspections and assessments of equipment and installations based on maintenance schedules/checklists.
    • Routine checks and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
    • Troubleshoot malfunctions and defects in equipment, machinery, and measuring/control systems.
    • Perform emergency repairs and scheduled extensive repairs based on planning and instructions.
    • Collaborate with colleagues on complex jobs and supervise third-party technicians as needed.
