Responsibilities:


Break-fix:


  • Visually inspecting devices to assess equipment status.
  • Rebooting routers, servers, storage devices or other equipment
  • Providing loopback cables in order to test circuits remotely.
  • Reseating or replacing components or cables.
  • Removing Alternating Current ("AC") or Direct Current ("DC") power from equipment Cleaning equipment or connectors
  • Installing or replace modular equipment components.
  • Cleaning fibers
  • Installing loop backs
  • Providing planned maintenance or circuit migration support
  • OTDR (testing, configuration, reporting)

Provisioning:


  • Install cables or optics for new circuits.
  • Reconnect / disconnect / replace existing circuits
  • Testing of cables and optics
  • OTDR (testing, configuration, reporting)

Deployment:


  • Physical Cabling
  • Cable Management
  • Northbound Cabling (Fiber/Copper/Power)
  • Rack/Stack/Jack
  • Installation Support (PDU, Network Switches, etc.)

Preferred Skillsets:
Technical Experience

  • Proven experience in a network administrator role
  • Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching.
  • Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
  • Proficient knowledge with OTDR
  • Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN's remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired.
  • Ability to set up and configure server hardware.

Contract

Contract length: 12 months


Salary: 250.00€ € per day
