QMENTA is looking for an
Accounts Payable Intern to join the Finance department in Barcelona.

QMENTA has developed an advanced solution for medical imaging data aggregation, standardization, and advanced quantitative AI processing. The system is used in Research, Clinical Trials (Pharma & Biotech), and Clinical Care (Patient Treatment) worldwide.

We are a fast-growing startup and in the past 9 years, we have expanded our business globally, serving hospitals, research centers, and pharmaceutical companies in the US, Europe, and elsewhere.

Our mission is to organize and quantify imaging information through complex imaging tools in a seamless manner in order to accelerate the discovery and development of cures for brain diseases.

This position is for students who are currently doing official studies and whose institution allows them to carry out curricular or extracurricular internship. If it is your case, continue reading because this position is for you.

What you will be doing:

You will provide support for accounts, invoices and vendor communication.
You will help in the daily administrative tasks and record keeping to receive, review and verify invoices for accuracy.
You will assist with filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate financial records in our accounting system.
You will handle communication with vendors.
You will work with bookkeeping software
You will manage the daytoday expense reimboursement of the company.
You will support the team in the assistance in the monthend closing process, the accruals preparation for the outstanding invoices while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Required skills

You should currently be enrolled in a training program or pursuing a degree in any field of accountancy.
Fluent in Spanish and good proficiency in English.
Strong attention to details.
Ability to work in teams and deliver timely results.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
If you have previous experience in accounting, with focus on AR will be considered a plus.
