Have you worked in tourism or hospitality? Do you love creating meaningful experiences for friends?

The Good Life Abroad is looking for an energetic person to manage all aspects of life in Barcelona for its community of age 55+ North Americans living in Barcelona.

From educational workshops to fun-filled parties, this person will become the logístical planner and living spirit of our local community.

Responsibilities
Member Support

• Provide realtime support to guests via Whatsapp during the day
• Provide timely, reliable information to guests
• Twice a month welcome event for inbound group and orientation day

Events & Activities

• Organize and facilitate weekly community meals, activities, and events
• Facilitate ongoing wellness activities (e.g. yoga, aerobics)
• Curate local upcoming public events for members (based on members interests)

Operations

• Serve as a liaison with local property managers
• Negotiate discounts and benefits for our members
• Secure revenue generating relationships with partners

Marketing & Sales Support

• Help obtain local photo and video support for social media
• Support sales team with cityspecific information
• Reply to questions in TGLA Membersonly FB group

Qualifications

• 57 years in
  high end customerfacing service industry
• Completely fluent, wellspoken English
• Fluent in local language

Preferred Experience

• 57 years working as a tour guide or tour director
