Are you an experienced Project Engineer in the PV field? Are you looking to join a growing utility-scale developer with 4.8GW in the pipeline?
I am supporting a European solar developer in searching for a Project Engineer for their Madrid HQ.

Key responsibilities:

Lead PV plants to design for utilityscale projects. Coordinate subcontractor's assignments and perform design choices in order to achieve LCOE targets.
Support the development team by drafting layouts and realising assessments for project site plans.
Liaise with the rest of the engineering team to perform singleline diagrams and interconnection and components design.
Interface with external EPCs for technical discussions.
Support the procurement team in producing BoQs and evaluating proposals from a technical standpoint.
Coordinate engineering review work during the construction phase and interact with the owner's engineer and construction department. Evaluate solutions to construction problems.

Person Specifications:

Minimum 3+ years of experience in PV Plant design.
Capability to create PV plant layouts in PVCase and/or Helios3D using the available technologies in the market. Critical discussion of proposed solutions
Experience in issuing technical specifications (equipment supply, basic sizing calculations, including construction, start and performance test)
Advanced user of Microsoft Package (Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
Mediumtohigh level of Autocad drawing skills.
Proficient user of PV Syst.
Fluent in English and Spanish (technical and professional vocabulary is a must). Italian desirable.
Minimum 5 years of labour experience in PV technology. Additional experience in the energy market will be positively regarded.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability and desire to work in a fastpaced, entrepreneurial environment.
