    Full service European rating agency with a strong focus on ESG factors. Practice areas include corporate, project finance, structured debt, financial institutions, and sovereign ratings.
    Position Description

    EthiFinance Ratings is looking for a mid-level individual to join the structured ratings practice (Receivable Finance, CLO, SME loans etc...).

    The candidate is expected to participate in structured rating activities with the possibility to eventually oversee the full rating process.

    Must be a great communicator with the ability to interact with senior market counterparties. The individual will participate in rating committees.

    Job functions include:
    Taking a lead role in the rating process of a variety of asset classes
    Take part in a detailed analysis of underlying assets, transaction structures and cash flow models
    High level interaction with market participants (banks, asset managers, arrangers)
    Elaborate Cash Flow Models in combination with Montecarlo simulations
    Communicate to the market (investors, clients, regulators) at a very technical level, the evolution of the different methodologies and our value proposition
    Position Report to the Head of Structured Ratings
    Qualifications
    Degree in business/economics or equivalents. CFA in process would be a plus.

    Basic experience is required but it is desirable interest in a career in a rating agency, Structure Finance, Fundamental Analysis, Cash Flow Analysis, etc.

    High level of modeling skills and excel use.
    Minimum 2 years of experience in a rating agency, arranger of structured transactions or asset manager (debt advisory role).
    Broad experience in structuring complex transactions.
    Strong understanding of financial and capital markets.
    Good communications skills.
    Fluent in English and Spanish both written and spoken. French a plus.
    Strong Excel and Modeling skills. xgwbsxa Programming skills MATLAB, Python a plus.
