  • Bachelor's degree in English, Literature, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Valid teaching license/certification or eligibility for certification.
  • Proven experience teaching English literature at the high school level, with a strong understanding of the IB curriculum.
  • Excellent knowledge of literary theory, critical analysis, and various literary genres and movements.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback to students on their writing.
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment that values diversity and promotes critical thinking and inquiry.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents/guardians to support student learning and achievement.
